Welcome to Kelly's Corner

Hi! My name is Kelly and I am an aspiring Instructional Designer, experienced Educator, and soon to be Communications and Event Director. I have 6 1/2 years experience in  Public Education and have experience in grades k-4, ELL Newcomer classes, and 9-12 ELA. I have a strong background and skill set in ELA instruction and the Science of Reading. I hold endorsements in Reading and ESOL certifications. While I was teaching elementary school, I began writing digital curriculum and found that I loved the design process of creating products that were engaging, high quality, results producing, and aesthetically pleasing. Helping learners reach their goals is passion of mine and this experience led me to pursue a Masters in Instructional Design and Technology. In my spare time, I love being with my family. I am a wife and mom to four beautiful children and am soaking in the years before my oldest two go off to college themselves! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
